Automotive Lube Tech
About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring Automotive Lube Techs to provide automotive maintenance and customer service at a Jiffy Lube in Brandon, Florida. Using company-provided training, technicians identify mechanical problems, perform preventative maintenance, respond to customer concerns, recommend repairs, provide labor and time estimates, make repairs, and replace parts as requested. The company welcomes applicants without experience and provides training. The role offers part-time or full-time schedules ranging from 15 to 40 hours per week, with shifts varying across daytime, evening, and weekend hours; late nights are not required.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to stand for several hours at a time and lift up to 50 pounds while performing vehicle repair and service tasks.
- Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions.
- Excellent mechanical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
