About The Position

We are looking for a Lot Porter to join our team at Rairdon’s Subaru of Auburn. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization and appearance of the dealership lot, ensuring available parking for customers, and arranging new and pre-owned inventory. You will also interact with customers to assist with valet parking and may be asked to drive a manual transmission vehicle and park various types of vehicles in tight spaces. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage and a great benefits package.

Requirements

• Walk and stand for an entire shift in inclement weather, including extreme heat or cold
• Have a track record of consistent attendance
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle and park many types of vehicles sometimes in tight spaces
• Reliable transportation to work
• Must be able to bend, twist, crouch and reach
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Valid WA Driver's License with a good driving record required
• Model a strong work ethic and exhibit a desire to grow

Nice To Haves

• Automotive experience preferred

• Keep the lot tight at all times, retaining available parking for customers
• Arrange all new and pre-owned inventory in organized, straight and immaculate lines
• Take the lead and think outside the box
• Work without supervision and still give 100% effort
• Interact with customers to assist with valet parking their vehicles when needed
