About The Position

Mark Kia is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and hands-on Automotive Lot Manager to oversee our vehicle inventory, lot operations, and lot attendant team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dealership experience who enjoys leadership, organization, and keeping operations running efficiently. As the Lot Manager, you'll play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring vehicles are properly merchandised, coordinating vehicle movement, and leading the lot team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Requirements

  • Previous automotive dealership experience required
  • Experience using dealership inventory and vehicle tracking systems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Lot Manager, Inventory Manager, or Automotive Lot Attendant preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations, organization, and appearance of the dealership lot
  • Maintain accurate vehicle inventory and oversee dealership inventory tracking systems
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly parked, staged, photographed, merchandised, and ready for sale
  • Oversee vehicle presentations to maintain a clean, professional, and customer-ready appearance
  • Dispatch and supervise Lot Attendants, assigning daily tasks and ensuring productivity
  • Monitor vehicle movement between sales, service, detail, and delivery departments
  • Maintain key inventory and ensure all keys are properly logged, secured, and tracked through the dealership's key management system
  • Coordinate with Sales, Service, and Detail departments to ensure vehicles are available when needed
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly
  • Assist with dealer trades, vehicle deliveries, and incoming inventory
  • Ensure the dealership lot remains clean, organized, and safe at all times
  • Train, coach, and support lot personnel while promoting teamwork and accountability
