About The Position

The Automotive Sales Porter / Lot Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of duties as it relates to the maintenance and organization of vehicles. This position interacts daily with the Sales Specialist, Service Managers, Sales Managers, support staff and customers. The goal of a Porter Lot Attendant is to ensure that our customer is 100% happy with the delivery of their car. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the vehicles on the lot (making sure the lot is neat, organized, all vehicles have appropriate stickers, and vehicles are fueled). This job requires a lot of time spent outside so you must be able to work outdoors comfortably.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand or walk outside throughout the work day in warm/cold/rainy weather
Have a good working ethic with out needed constant supervision
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to operate an automobile

Past experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Checking in new and used vehicles delivered to the dealership.
Stocking them in along with the keys.
Assist in maintaining a smooth vehicle process from service through reconditioning.
Clean interior and exterior of new and used vehicles that currently are on display when needed.
Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to storage.
Maintains building and ground as needed.
Work directly with Sales manager on daily tasks with wholesale and Used car process.
Maintain the vehicles on the lot (making sure the lot is neat, organized, all vehicles have appropriate stickers, and vehicles are fueled).
