Automotive Line Technician / Mechanic
About The Position
We are hiring Experienced Automotive Line Technician/Mechanics. At Kendall Ford of Bozeman, we are looking for experienced Automotive Technicians to help us redefine the car-servicing experience. We are a family-owned and operated company with auto dealerships in Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Washington and Alaska. Kendall has been selling and servicing vehicles since 1937. Requirements
- Must have mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
- Must provide and keep hand and power tools current for position obtained
- Must have ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
- A valid driver license and good driving record are required.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and identify work that needs to be completed on various vehicles
- Perform adjustments and calibrations, replenishing fluids, disassembling and reassembling vehicle components, and repairing or replacing parts
- Use independent judgment needed to make decisions
- Document all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies
- Road testing all vehicles to ensure quality of work and issues resolution
