The Lube Technician is expected to protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the dealership. They will perform lube, oil, filter and multipoint service for customer vehicles and act as a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful. The role involves seeking ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service. Primary duties include ensuring maximum productivity, customer service, and cost control by performing all lube, oil, filter, and multi-point inspection processes to ensure proper diagnoses. This includes assessing any supplemental vehicle needs, performing quality service at all times, notifying management of any substandard processes, parts, or procedures, and maintaining clean vehicles during all servicing and repairs. Achieving customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate service and communication is key. The technician must also maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA/EPA requirements, and perform all job duties requested by management. The role also emphasizes operating with integrity, demanding the highest ethical standards, setting an example of a positive attitude and professionalism, and maintaining an orderly and safe work environment with outstanding attendance.
