About The Position

Along with our fueling business we are growing our automotive lift installation, service, and inspection department. We're experiencing significant growth and seeking skilled Automotive Lift Inspection Technician to join our team in Austin, TX and surrounding areas! United Uptime Services is the leading supplier of both petroleum fueling and EV charging system equipment, installation, and service across the Southwest, Midwest, and Rocky Mountain regions. United Uptime Services is an authorized distributor and service provider for Gilbarco Veeder- Root as well as other major equipment brands. The company has 35+ branch offices and more than 1,300 Team Members operating throughout the United States. United Uptime Services provides industry leading compliance testing solutions in all 50 states through its Tanknology Business.

Requirements

  • Previous industry experience installing, servicing, and inspecting automotive lifts at dealerships, municipal maintenance departments, lube/tire facilities, etc.
  • Current certifications – Automotive Lift Inspection (ALI) & Rotary Authorized Installer (RAI) certificates
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work comfortably at heights up to 100 lbs.
  • Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
  • A commitment to safety is non-negotiable.
  • Hands-on attitude; not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty.
  • Eager to be part of something bigger; keen interest in helping to build and shape our branch from the ground up, contributing to its success and growth.
  • Available to be on call and capable of completing all work efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must pass drug test, background, physical, and MVR check.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer requests, delivering high-quality service with a smile.
  • Install automotive lube lifts or troubleshoot air compressors.
  • Ensure that all installations and repairs are conducted with safety as the top priority, maintaining equipment and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Leverage mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure flawless operation of vehicle repair equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair issues efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, ensuring seamless coordination and teamwork.
