About The Position
We are a professional, fast-growing automotive repair facility dedicated to providing exceptional service and high-quality repairs. With a team of experienced technicians and state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, we take pride in delivering reliable automotive solutions and outstanding customer care. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Automotive Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a highly motivated technician with strong diagnostic abilities, leadership experience, and a passion for excellence in automotive repair.
Requirements
- Extensive automotive technician experience with a strong diagnostic background
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and repair software
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership or shop foreman experience
- ASE certifications
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on domestic and import vehicles
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, engine, suspension, steering, and brake systems
- Lead, mentor, and support technicians to maintain productivity and repair quality
- Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and job prioritization
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate repair recommendations and estimates
- Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and correctly the first time
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures and industry regulations
- Utilize diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and shop management software effectively
- Maintain accurate repair orders, service records, and parts documentation
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Deliver excellent customer service by clearly communicating repair needs and solutions
