Midas - Automotive Lead Technician
About The Position
Auto Systems Centers, the world's largest Midas franchisee and now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring a full-time Automotive Lead Technician for its service, repair, and tire center in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. The position offers competitive weekly pay consisting of guaranteed base pay and performance-based bonus potential, with the opportunity to earn up to $150,000 annually based on performance. The schedule is a five-day work week, with Sundays and one other weekday off. The technician inspects, diagnoses, and performs automotive mechanical services, including undercar repairs, brakes, struts, shocks, and routine maintenance. The role also handles state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, tire service, fluid checks, and replacement of worn automotive parts. The employer provides benefits, certification support, uniform expenses, and an employee tool purchase program.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience or training in automotive repair, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- At least 18 years old.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
- Dependability, teamwork, and commitment to quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose automotive mechanical issues.
