About The Position
Main Street Auto (Fryer's Automotive) is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join their growing team in Lagrange, GA. This role offers stable, Monday-Friday hours, industry-leading pay, and opportunities for career growth in a supportive, well-equipped shop environment. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, taking the lead on complex jobs, and mentoring junior technicians.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an A-Level Automotive Technician
- Strong diagnostic skills (electrical & mechanical)
- Ability to handle complex repairs independently
- Experience using modern scan tools and shop software
- Excellent communication and time-management
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

- ASE certification
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnostics for engine, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Work with service advisors on repair recommendations
- Maintain clean, organized work areas
- Use scan tools, testing equipment, and shop software
- Support and mentor junior technicians
- Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership
