About The Position
Main Street Auto (Fryer's Automotive, Lagrange, GA) is looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician / Mechanic who wants stable hours, top-tier pay, and a place to build a long-term career. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles with accuracy and efficiency. The technician will also take the lead on complex jobs and support other technicians when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an A-Level Automotive Technician
- Strong diagnostic skills (electrical & mechanical)
- Ability to handle complex repairs independently
- Experience using modern scan tools and shop software
- Excellent communication and time-management
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnostics for engine, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Work with service advisors on repair recommendations
- Maintain clean, organized work areas
- Use scan tools, testing equipment, and shop software
- Support and mentor junior technicians
- Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership
- Stay up-to-date with tools, technology, and best practices
