Automotive Key Technician Trainee
About The Position
Dent Wizard is seeking motivated individuals to train as Key Technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for producing duplicate keys and transponders for vehicles, maintaining equipment and inventory, submitting invoices and work orders, and building relationships with customers. While experience is a plus, we are also looking for individuals with the right attitude and drive who can successfully complete our training program. This position involves working an assigned route of dealers and other customers, requiring mechanical and electronic aptitude, independence, and motivation. You will be working with high-security keys and complex transponder systems in cars and trucks.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical and electronic skills.
- Sales and customer service experience.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Toughness and grit to work outside in all kinds of weather.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication and transponder programming.
