About The Position

The Automotive Inventory Specialist is responsible for receiving, documenting, and accurately tracking vehicles. This role ensures vehicles are appropriately identified and documented to meet company standards and contractual obligations. The specialist will record vehicle information accurately and legibly, complete and distribute vehicle documentation, and operate digital cameras or other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices. Providing service to customers as needed and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor are also key aspects of the role. Following yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment is essential, and the ability to determine a vehicle's operation status is required. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

Excellent customer service attitude and skills
Ability to legibly document and track inventory
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use electronic inventory management equipment
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment
One year of receiving and/or inventory experience

Nice To Haves

HS diploma or GED preferred
Occasional O.T. as needed
