About The Position
Autos of Chicago is a high-volume, independent luxury dealership with over 500+ vehicles in inventory. We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Manager to take full control of our vehicle inventory, tracking, and operational flow. Position Overview The Inventory Manager is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing vehicles, ensuring accurate tracking, proper documentation, and coordination between Sales, Service, Body Shop, and Office. This role is critical to keeping operations efficient and preventing delays in sales and recon.
Requirements
- Automotive dealership experience required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience with dealerships inventory process
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication across departments
Responsibilities
- Manage and track all inventory from receiving to sale
- Oversee GET READY process and monitor vehicle status daily
- Coordinate with: Sales Managers Service Department Body Shop Office Team
- Track: Incoming inventory Recon status Open repairs Vehicle availability
- Ensure all vehicles: Are properly posted Have complete documentation Are ready for sale on time
- Monitor shipping & receiving (incoming/outgoing units)
- Maintain accurate records of: Keys Vehicle location
