About The Position

Automotive Internet Sales Manager We are seeking a results-driven Automotive Internet Sales Manager to lead and grow our dealership’s online sales operations. This role is responsible for managing digital leads, optimizing the customer experience, and driving internet sales performance from first contact to showroom appointment and beyond. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about converting online opportunities into measurable sales results.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive sales or internet sales management experience
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems and digital lead platforms
  • Excellent communication skills (phone, email, text)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with tools like DealerSocket, VinSolutions, or similar CRMs
  • Understanding of digital marketing (SEO, paid ads, lead generation)
  • Ability to analyze data and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Strong closing skills and objection handling

Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming internet leads (website, third-party platforms, social media, and email)
  • Respond to customer inquiries quickly, professionally, and effectively
  • Set, confirm, and manage appointments to maximize showroom traffic
  • Lead, train, and motivate the internet sales team (if applicable)
  • Monitor CRM activity to ensure proper follow-up and lead handling
  • Track and improve conversion rates (lead-to-appointment, appointment-to-sale)
  • Work closely with sales managers and BDC to align strategies
  • Maintain accurate customer records and reporting within CRM
  • Develop and execute digital sales strategies to increase lead volume and closing ratios
  • Ensure a top-tier online customer experience that reflects dealership standards
