Requirements

  • At least 2 years of automotive internet sales experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of related internet sales management experience or equivalent education and training.
  • Strong sales skills with excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills to maintain contact with clients before and after sales.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

  • Contact customers to perform needs analysis, including vehicle make, type, and desired features.
  • Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operation in the showroom or during test drives.
  • Research vehicle availability and optional equipment using computer databases.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate sales prices, including tax, trade-in allowance, licensing, discounts, and financing or leasing requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle inventory lot.
  • Complete all required paperwork and coordinate vehicle delivery and registration.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers and familiarize them with vehicle operation.
  • Attend required training sessions and department meetings.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
