About The Position

Western Funding, a dynamic and fast-growing auto finance company, is seeking Internal Sales Representatives with the vision and dedication to assist dealer partners throughout North America. As a subsidiary of Westlake Financial Services, Western Funding provides automobile financing to borrowers with limited access to traditional credit. The Internal Sales Representative will focus on increasing funded deals by partnering with suitable dealers, identifying, onboarding, and managing growth with dealers across the US from the company headquarters. This role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires a consultative sales and management approach. New hire training is provided to ensure success, and the team fosters a positive and supportive environment with a dedicated fun committee for employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales (preferred)
  • 1-2 year’s previous experience in a Sales role with a proven track record of success
  • High School Diploma required
  • Strong knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques
  • Clear and effective presentation skills
  • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
  • Strong computer skills, telephone management, and adaptability to new technology

Nice To Haves

  • College degree (preferred or equivalent work experience)

Responsibilities

  • Creates initial and nurtures ongoing relationship contact with dealers.
  • Increases the number of funded deals by partnering with dealers who will be a good fit.
  • Identifies, onboards, and manages growth with dealers around the US.
  • Presents and communicates company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
  • Identifies sales prospects and contacts assigned accounts.
  • Follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone calls for Independent and franchise dealers.
  • Develops, maintains, and grows current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
  • Maintains constant and effective communication via phone and email with dealer partners on current programs.
  • Trains dealers, via phone and email, in Western Funding, including proper documentation needed for fast funding of contracts.
