About The Position

This position is responsible for providing service to customer vehicles, including checking and changing fluids and filters, airing tires, and performing specialized services such as transmission, differential, and radiator services. The role involves inputting customer and maintenance information into a computer system, explaining services to customers, and accepting payments. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining clean facilities, observing safety regulations, and performing related duties as assigned. This is a part-time position with hourly pay ranging from $15.00 to $17.00.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Successfully complete the Lube Technician training course.
  • Previous automotive experience is helpful.
  • Ability to reach four feet in height overhead.
  • Ability to perform bending, stretching, and use stairs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to respond to communication calls from co-workers.
  • Mobility is required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean facilities (work area, grounds, restrooms, customer area, etc.) including sweeping, mopping and emptying trash.
  • Observe and comply with safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
