About The Position

We are seeking an Automotive General Service Lube Technician to join our team. This full-time position offers industry-leading pay, exceptional benefits, and endless career growth opportunities. The role involves providing service to customer vehicles, including fluid and filter changes, tire inflation, and specialized services like transmission, differential, and radiator services. You will also be responsible for inputting customer and maintenance information into the computer, explaining services to customers, accepting payments, and maintaining a clean work environment. The position reports to the Manager and Assistant Manager and involves rotating through various Lube Technician duties.

Requirements

Ability to read and write English.
Successfully complete the Lube Technician training course.
Previous automotive experience is helpful.
Equipment operation includes overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, differential pump, transmission fluid exchange machine and calculator.
Ability to reach four feet in height overhead, some bending, stretching and use stairs is used constantly.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers and respond to communication calls from co-workers.
Mobility is required.

Responsibilities

Provide service to customer vehicles, including checking and changing fluids and filters, airing tires.
Provide specialized service including but not limited to transmission, differential and radiator services.
Input customer and maintenance information into computer.
Explain service to customers and accept payment for services.
Maintain clean facilities (work area, grounds, restrooms, customer area, etc.) including sweeping, mopping and emptying trash.
Observe and comply with safety rules and regulations.
Perform related duties as assigned.
