About The Position

DELLA Auto Group is seeking a full-time Float Cashier to join their team. As a Float Cashier, you will work at multiple locations in Plattsburgh to cover for other cashiers' days away from work and you will play a significant role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience by providing exceptional customer service and efficiently processing all forms of payments. This is an individual contributor role within the Auto industry, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proficient in basic computer skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role is preferred

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
Accurately process all forms of payments including cash, credit card, and check
Provide exceptional customer service by answering any questions and addressing any concerns
Maintain a neat and organized cashier area
Process all paperwork and ensure accuracy in all transactions
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues effectively and efficiently
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Provide support to other departments as needed
