About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Fleet Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Columbus, OH. You will be working on a fleet on refrigerated Ford Transit vehicles delivering groceries to consumers. Prior Ford Transit + 608 Reefer experience is a plus. Requirements

5+ years’ of hands-on experience performing automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver’s license
Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Nice To Haves

Prior Ford Transit + 608 Reefer experience

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations
