Automotive Field Support Specialist
About The Position
Pro-MotionPix is seeking a reliable and active team member for a field-based position supporting automotive dealerships in the Tri-Valley and surrounding East Bay communities. This role involves traveling between dealership locations to work with vehicles, maintain inventory organization, and prepare vehicles for online listings. The position combines vehicle handling, inventory support, dealership communication, and mobile photography using a company-provided iPhone and mobile application to photograph vehicles, create 360° views, and record videos. While photography experience is not required, the priority is completing assignments accurately and efficiently according to the established process. This is a full-time role with a Monday-Friday schedule.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license
- A dependable personal vehicle for travel between dealerships
- The ability to work a full-time Monday–Friday schedule
- The ability to walk dealership lots and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Comfort working outside in varying weather conditions
- Basic smartphone and mobile-app skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A consistent work history; one year or more is preferred
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Automotive, warehouse, construction, landscaping, delivery, maintenance, or other hands-on experience is preferred
- Manual transmission experience is a plus, but not necessary
Responsibilities
- Driving your personal vehicle to multiple dealership locations during your assigned route
- Reviewing the day's inventory assignments and locating vehicles on dealership property
- Tracking down vehicle keys and confirming where vehicles are parked
- Moving cars when necessary so they can be properly staged
- Taking standardized vehicle photos for dealership websites and online listings
- Creating 360° vehicle views and short videos using company equipment
- Entering and reviewing information through a mobile app
- Communicating with dealership employees regarding vehicles, keys, and inventory
- Reporting vehicles that cannot be located or are unavailable
- Resolving routine issues that come up during the route
- Keeping assignments moving so the day's scheduled work is completed on time
- Representing Pro-MotionPix professionally at each dealership
