The Automotive Express Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes and multi-point vehicle inspections to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
  • At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company policy.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
  • Capable of lifting at least 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands regularly, with occasional kneeling, stooping, or crouching.
  • Vision capable of close, distance, peripheral sight and focus adjustment.
  • Ability to operate equipment and move vehicles safely.
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior promoting company standards and teamwork.
  • Adheres to all company policies, laws, and pricing guidelines.
  • Provides efficient, fair, and cost-effective service.
  • Maintains professionalism and avoids conflicts of interest.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, filter changes, and multi-point inspections to ensure vehicle health and accurate diagnosis.
  • Identify and communicate any additional vehicle service needs to management.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during service and ensure a safe and orderly work environment.
  • Achieve excellent customer service through prompt, accurate work and clear communication.
  • Adhere to OSHA and EPA safety regulations at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
