Requirements

Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Team oriented, flexible, high energy and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
Knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Regularly required to: Sit, stand and walk Use hands and arms to handle, feel, or reach Speak and hear Use close vision abilities Operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license
Occasionally, required to: Lift or move up to 50 lbs Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Noise Level: Low to moderate

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Work independently and as a team to drive maximum repair efficiency.
Consistently and concisely detail and document repairs to ensure vehicles are fixed right the first time.
Inspect and maintain shop equipment.
Repair vehicle automotive systems including steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification.
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors.
Inspect and test used vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
Continue ongoing training to stay abreast of the new technology and techniques on the vehicle model lines.
