About The Position

New Holland Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Diesel Technician for their Truck Shop. This role involves performing specified repairs efficiently and according to dealership standards, diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, and communicating directly with Service Advisors regarding repair status and estimates. Requirements

  • PA SI & Emissions License is a must
  • Valid PA driver's license
  • Truck/Automotive Repair: 5 years (Minimum)
  • Diesel engines
  • Alignment
  • Mechanical experience
  • Brakes
  • Diagnostics
  • All applicants must pass pre-employment testing which includes: Background Checks, MVR, and Drug Testing.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
  • Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
  • Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
  • Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Efficiently and accurately perform quality repair work in accordance with dealership's and factory standards
