About The Position

We are looking for technicians who are energetic, have a great attitude, and are team players. You seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests. As a Diagnostic Technician with Christian Brothers Automotive, you leverage your diagnostic and communication skills to diagnose vehicles, mentor technicians, and coach our team of service professionals that our guests trust when they need help with their vehicles. You are a key person that nurtures the integrity and transparency that our guests experience every time they invest in their vehicle. You are critical to building trusting relationships with our guests through consistent and superior quality diagnoses and transparent education.

Requirements

10+ years experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
Must be able to complete complex electrical diagnostics
Strong desire of problem solving
A desire for long-term career development
Proficiency in Windows-based computers
Current driver’s license and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier

Nice To Haves

ASE Certifications preferred, or plan to achieve

Responsibilities

Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guests
Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns
Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
