About The Position
Schomp Automotive Group is looking for an Automotive Detailer to join their team. This full-time, hourly position is scheduled to work Tuesday through Saturday. The Automotive Detailer will be responsible for inspecting vehicles for cleaning needs, cleaning interiors and exteriors to company standards, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring proper chemical usage. The role also involves moving and parking vehicles, and applying touch-up paint. Responsibilities
- Perform inspection of vehicle for cleaning needs and determining best course of action, maintain complete and accurate records of vehicle’s condition.
- Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and customer requests.
- Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment to meet service expectations.
- Ensure all chemicals are properly labeled and appropriately used.
- Move and park vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations.
- Apply touch-up paint to chipped body surfaces.
