About The Position
The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Detailer at Napleton's Lexus of Milwaukee. The role is responsible for safely and efficiently cleaning the interior and exterior surfaces of sales and service vehicles, as well as new and used inventory. The position includes washing and vacuuming vehicles, cleaning and polishing exterior surfaces, maintaining detailing supplies and tools, performing minor body repairs, and attending production meetings as needed or directed by a manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to handle machinery safely.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Ability to operate an automobile.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.
Responsibilities
- Wash cars to remove surface dirt.
- Vacuum interior surfaces, spot-clean textile stains, and clean solid surfaces.
- Clean exterior surfaces using cleaners, mechanical buffers, and polishing compounds.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaners, compounds, and tools needed to complete assigned work safely and efficiently.
- Perform minor body repair of scratches and blemishes using buffers and/or wet sanders.
- Attend periodic production meetings as needed or directed by the manager.
