About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer and Car Washer in the Indianapolis area. The position pays $15 per hour and involves washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals, while meeting the company’s cleanliness and safety standards. The role may include assisting customers and transporting them to and from branches. Schedules are 40 hours per week, with several schedule options across the listed Indianapolis locations.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past two years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require employment authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; assess tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage; remove vehicles from the preparation process when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Use tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport them to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of branch interiors and exteriors, including desks, countertops, phones, floors, trash areas, bathrooms, and lots.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
