Automotive Detailer
About The Position
Schumacher Automotive Group in West Palm Beach is seeking a Full-Time Automotive Detailer with passion and drive in the automotive industry. Performance and High-end vehicle experience is a plus. Automotive detailers are responsible for cleaning and restoring vehicles to their original condition. Requirements
- Previous experience in car wash or detailing is required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment as needed during the detailing process.
- Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities
- Wash vehicle exteriors to remove dirt, oil, grease, and debris from painted surfaces per Company standards- this might include cars of different sizes, as well as trucks.
- Cleans and sanitizes vehicle interior per the Company standards.
- Cleans upholstery, rugs and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices.
- Applies revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals.
- Applies wax to auto body and wipes or buffs surfaces.
- Vacuums and prepares vehicle interiors per Company standards.
- Checks fuel levels and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage.
- Checks fluid levels and adds as needed; checks tire conditions and inspects vehicle exterior for noticeable defects or damages such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery.
- Restores appearance of engine area.
- Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.
- Fuels and stages vehicles for the showrooms.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area and reports any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
- Responsible for wearing proper personal protection equipment (PPE) and ensuring cleaning, detailing, washing and sanitization supplies are available
- Helps maintain overall work area clean and neat.
- Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
- Other duties and projects as assigned by management.
