About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals. The role is based at 6731 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90621-3451. The starting pay is $19.00 per hour, based on a 40-hour workweek. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; and Sunday off. The position supports the company’s cleanliness and safety standards by preparing vehicle interiors and exteriors, checking vehicle condition and safety items, and keeping the work area and branch location clean and orderly. The role may also involve assisting or transporting customers and completing other assigned duties. Enterprise Mobility operates car rental and other mobility services through brands including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. The company and its affiliate manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles and operate more than 9,500 staffed rental locations in more than 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require work authorization sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks of different sizes.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers as needed and, when applicable, transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desks, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; taking out trash; vacuuming; and sweeping the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
