About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals while meeting cleanliness and safety standards. The position is located at 1607 MacArthur Drive, Alexandria, LA 71301, and pays $13.25 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and rotating Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The role also includes maintaining branch cleanliness and appearance, assisting customers, and possibly transporting customers to and from branches. Enterprise Mobility provides mobility solutions through brands including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. It and its affiliate manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through more than 9,500 rental locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore factory settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from the preparation process when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and possibly transport them to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; emptying trash; vacuuming; and sweeping the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
