About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer at its Trevose, Pennsylvania location. The starting compensation is $17 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek, with the opportunity for yearly merit increases based on performance. The role is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans to meet cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

The schedule is Sunday and Wednesday off; Monday and Tuesday 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m.; Thursday 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m.–8 p.m.; and Saturday 8 a.m.–1 p.m. The position also involves maintaining branch cleanliness, operating vehicle-cleaning equipment, and assisting or transporting customers when needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
• Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes to the listed location within 30 days of the anticipated start date.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that vehicle registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicles for exterior damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, and tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed and transport customers to and from branches when required.
• Help maintain the appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; taking out trash; vacuuming; and sweeping the lot.
• Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
