About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring part-time Automotive Detailers at Traverse City Airport in Traverse City, Michigan. The role pays $17.50 per hour. Detailers wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals, maintaining the company’s cleanliness and safety standards. The available schedules are Thursday and Friday, 3:00 PM–12:00 AM, or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM. Enterprise Mobility provides mobility services through brands including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. The company and its affiliates manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles and operate more than 9,500 rental locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that vehicle registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, and tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance of branch locations through general interior and exterior cleaning, including desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, and sweeping the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
