About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals while meeting high cleanliness and safety standards. The position is based at 18600 Statesville Rd, Cornelius, NC 28031, pays a starting rate of $15.50 per hour, and is based on a 40-hour workweek. The available schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; Sunday and Wednesday off. The role includes preparing vehicle interiors and exteriors, checking vehicle condition and safety, fueling and staging vehicles, operating cleaning equipment, maintaining the branch’s appearance, and assisting customers as needed. The employee may also transport customers to and from branches.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from the company now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that vehicle registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, and tire damage; remove vehicles from the preparation process as necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport them to and from branches.
Help maintain the overall appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash areas, and bathrooms, as well as vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and completing other daily cleanliness tasks.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
