About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Automotive Detailer is to clean and refurbish new and used vehicles according to customer specifications. This role also includes assisting with vehicle deliveries and supporting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) for new inventory. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • 1 year of automotive detailing experience preferred (training available for motivated candidates)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Wash vehicle exteriors, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down door jambs
  • Apply wax to vehicle surfaces and buff to a high-quality finish
  • Vacuum interiors to remove dirt and debris
  • Clean upholstery, carpets, and other surfaces using appropriate tools and cleaning agents
  • Apply conditioners and protective treatments to leather, vinyl, and fabric surfaces
  • Clean engines and engine compartments using steam cleaning equipment
  • Use specialized cleaners to remove tough contaminants as needed
  • Inspect vehicles for defects such as dents, scratches, or interior damage
  • Restore and maintain the appearance of interiors, exteriors, and engine areas
  • Apply tire dressing and clean tire wells
  • Utilize the PACE VIN Order System
  • Follow customer-specific detailing requirements
  • Assist with vehicle deliveries as needed
  • Support pre-delivery inspections (PDI) for new vehicle inventory
  • Coordinate tasks with team members to ensure efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of protective equipment
  • Operate tools and equipment safely
  • Report any safety concerns to management promptly
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
