About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Detailer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring repaired vehicles are cleaned, polished, inspected, and prepared to the highest quality standards before being returned to customers. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and is committed to delivering an exceptional finished product.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of professional automotive detailing experience, preferably within a collision repair or automotive dealership environment.
  • Experience with vehicle polishing, buffing, waxing, and paint finishing techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify imperfections in vehicle appearance.
  • Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving vehicles as required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform polishing, buffing, and finishing work on repaired vehicles to achieve a flawless appearance.
  • Detail both the interior and exterior of vehicles prior to customer delivery.
  • Inspect completed vehicles for imperfections and perform or coordinate any required touch-ups or corrections.
  • Complete vehicle scans before production begins and prior to final vehicle delivery.
  • Accurately document work performed, materials used, and vehicle condition during pre-wash and final wash inspections.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
  • Clean, maintain, and properly store detailing equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with technicians, painters, estimators, and production staff to ensure vehicles are completed on time and meet customer expectations.
