Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Automotive Detailer with a positive attitude willing to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Detailer, you will be responsible for transforming vehicles into pristine, showroom-quality conditions. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the appearance and overall value of the dealership’s new and used inventory, as well as our customers’ vehicles. This is a great entry-level position in a dealership that loves to promote from within for continued growth!

Requirements

  • Previous experience detailing vehicles and having basic automotive knowledge is preferred.
  • Hardworking with the eagerness to learn, grow, develop, and improve.
  • Positive attitude with ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, wax, polish, refurbish, and detail vehicles as provided by the Sales Department, Service Department, and Collision Center.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure the highest quality service.
  • Understand and deliver upon specific customer requirements.
  • Operate and maintain detailing equipment to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Keep the detail department clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Directly report any damage to the proper manager in a clear and timely fashion.
  • Coordinate and arrange work effectively with team members.
  • Perform other various duties as assigned by the department managers such as vehicle photos, moving vehicles, filling vehicles with fuel, maintaining showroom and display units, applying window stickers, etc.
