We’re looking for a Detailer who takes pride in quality, consistency, and doing things the right way. This role is responsible for preparing vehicles for both our recon department and retail service clients, ensuring every vehicle meets Maverick’s cleanliness and presentation standards before it reaches the lot or the customer. This is a hands-on role for someone who works hard, notices the small things, and takes ownership of the finished product.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive detailing experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Positive attitude and team-first mentality
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and coachable
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the role
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to drive a variety of vehicles
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality interior and exterior detailing on assigned vehicles
  • Wash, vacuum, shampoo, polish, wax, and complete final vehicle presentation work
  • Ensure all vehicles meet Maverick cleanliness and quality standards
  • Assist with final presentation readiness including glass, trim, engine bay, wheels, and finishing details
  • Identify and report vehicles needing additional correction or rework
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of detail bays and work areas
  • Support team workflow and department efficiency
  • Assist secondarily with vehicle movement, porting, and other recon department support as needed
  • Work closely with the Detail Manager to maintain department standards and turnaround times
