About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring full-time and part-time Automotive Detailers to wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals. The role is located at 602 Providence Highway, Norwood, MA 02062, and pays $18 per hour. Full-time employees work 40 hours per week and part-time employees work 25 hours per week. Schedules are provided, with some flexibility available for discussion during the interview process.

The position supports Enterprise Mobility’s cleanliness and safety standards by preparing rental vehicles and maintaining the appearance of the branch. Duties include interior and exterior cleaning, vehicle inspections, fueling and staging, reporting safety concerns, maintaining work areas, operating cleaning equipment, and assisting or transporting customers when needed.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration.
• Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicles for exterior damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from the preparation process as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed and transport customers to and from branches when needed.
• Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of branch interiors and exteriors, including desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and the lot.
• Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
