Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Campbell - Full Time
About The Position
Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals. The role supports the company’s cleanliness and safety standards and may also include assisting or transporting customers and maintaining the appearance of branch locations. The position is located at 1506 White Oaks Road, Campbell, California 95008, pays $19 per hour, and offers a consistent 40-hour weekly schedule. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday off; and rotating Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A valid California driver’s license is required.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid California driver’s license.
- Be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future work authorization sponsorship from the company.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
- Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
- Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
- Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
- Fuel and stage vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights and vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
- Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
- Assist customers when needed and, potentially, transport customers to and from branches.
- Help maintain branch appearance, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; removing trash; vacuuming; sweeping the lot; and performing other daily cleanliness tasks.
- Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
