About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals. The role is located at 1115 Smith St, Charleston, WV 25301, and pays $17 per hour based on a 40-hour work week. The position follows a two-week schedule, with shifts ranging from early morning to late afternoon and some Saturday hours. The role also includes helping customers, potentially transporting them to and from branches, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the branch and work area.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past three years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset or restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights and vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the overall appearance of the site, including cleaning branch interiors and exteriors, desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash areas, bathrooms, and the lot; vacuum and sweep as needed.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
