About The Position

The Detailer is responsible for ensuring that the cosmetic quality of all vehicles meets the CarShop standard of excellence. He/She will conduct preparation for delivery of each vehicle at the direction of the Detail Manager, and in accordance with the approved processes of the Detail Department. The successful candidate will keep all equipment and tools in good working order. When maintenance or repairs are necessary, he/she will report the issue to the Detail Manager. The successful candidate strives to exceed the agreed personal performance goals and embraces and models the company culture and values.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of previous detailing experience in a fast paced dealership.
  • Ability to establish priorities, problem solve, and complete tasks in a timely manner with a great attention to detail.
  • Personable, a team player and demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Exemplify integrity, strive for self-improvement, and have an open-minded, "can-do" attitude.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug.

  • Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedure

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; and six month or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous detailing experience is preferred.
