About The Position

RBM of Atlanta is seeking an Automotive Detailer to join their team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles, ensuring they meet high standards before being delivered to customers or displayed on the lot. The dealership has a long history in Atlanta and is recognized for its innovation and commitment to customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
  • Basic communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills using American units of measure.
  • Must participate in RBM’s normal screening process, including completing a full employment application, satisfactory criminal, credit and driving records checks (where applicable), in-person interviews and other inquiries.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with other brands such as BMW, Lexus, Infiniti, Acura, Cadillac, Honda, Toyota, Ford, GM, Chrysler, Nissan, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Wash vehicle exterior using automated car wash and cleaning solutions.
  • Prep vehicle exterior by cleaning bumpers, grill, lower body panels, rocker panels, and fender wells with a pressure washer.
  • Clean brake dust from wheels.
  • Prepare exterior for hand waxing and remove minor foreign over sprays with rubbing clay.
  • Clean door jams, windows (interior & exterior), and mirrors (interior & exterior).
  • Apply wax to auto body and buff surfaces to protect and shine.
  • Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove dirt and debris.
  • Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using cleaning agents and devices.
  • Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics.
  • Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and cleaning agents.
  • Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials.
  • Proactively communicate potential issues to management and other departments.
  • Report any situation that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, personnel, or customers.
  • Maintain professional appearance and work space.
  • Complete required MB and dealership training.
  • Abide by company policy, departmental best practices and procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.
