About The Position

The Automotive Detail Technician is responsible for ensuring vehicles meet the organization's standards for quality and customer satisfaction. This role involves a variety of tasks related to vehicle cleaning, detailing, and preparation, often in a fast-paced environment. The technician will work closely with customers to understand their specific needs and perform thorough inspections to ensure all requirements are met. Maintaining the proper function of service tools and equipment is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

Previous detail experience preferred.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.
Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
Remove trash from the interior and cleans upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Apply wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
Apply protective sealant.
Refurbish headlights.
Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
Inspect the vehicles thoroughly for pre-delivery.
Maintain the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
