About The Position
The Automotive Detail Technician is responsible for ensuring vehicles are cleaned and prepared to meet customer and organizational standards. This role involves a variety of tasks related to vehicle cleaning, detailing, and refurbishment, performed in a fast-paced environment. The technician will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality service and maintain the organization's standards.
Requirements
- Previous detail experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.
- Positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
- Remove trash from the interior and clean upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
- Apply protective sealant.
- Refurbish headlights.
- Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
- Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
- Inspect the vehicles thoroughly for pre-delivery.
- Maintain the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
