About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Automotive Dealership Porter to join our team here at Lou Fusz Kia in Terre Haute. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical appearance and organization of our vehicle inventory, supporting the sales and service departments, and ensuring that vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customer presentation or delivery.

• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive detailing, car washing, lot attendant, or dealership experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive, park, and arrange new and pre-owned vehicle inventory on the dealership lot and showroom.
• Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles to maintain a professional presentation for buyers.
• Check and maintain fluid levels, tire pressure, and fuel levels in inventory vehicles.
• Transport vehicles between the dealership, off-site storage, and local service or body shops.
• Assist the sales team by retrieving vehicles for customer test drives and preparing sold cars for delivery.
• Assist the service department by moving customer cars to and from service bays.
• Keep the lot, customer parking areas, and dealership grounds clean, clear, and safe from debris or hazards.
• Run local errands for the parts department or other staff as needed.
