About The Position
Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet Inc is seeking an Automotive Porter/Detailer (New Vehicle Detail Specialist) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring vehicles are presented in immaculate condition to customers. Applicants must have a great deal of work ethic. Applicants must value the virtue of duty (you do what is asked of you without strife as long as it is not: unsafe or unethical). Opening a brand new $30 million dollar building on M24 (North Telegraph Road), about 300 yards away from current dealership soon! Breaking ground in August 2026! Exciting time to be a part of something special.
Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Ability to work with a team and communicate with one another.
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in automotive detailing preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of vehicles
- Perform detailing activities such as waxing, buffing, and polishing
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and compliance with company standards
- Maintain detailing equipment and supplies
