About The Position

Our Automotive Service Center Courtesy Technician plays a key role in creating a positive customer experience by performing visible tasks during the 17-Point Oil Change, such as cleaning the interior, washing windows, and ensuring correct tire pressure. This role is crucial in making a good first impression and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Customer service skills
Basic literacy (reading, writing, math skills)
Ability and licensed to operate motor vehicles
Verbal communication skills
Ability to properly use mechanical hand tools
Attention to detail
No previous experience or training required
Valid state driver’s license required

Responsibilities

Greet customers and place seat covers in the vehicle
Drive vehicle into bay, prepare vehicle for service – open hood, roll up windows, unlock doors, remove keys
Perform Tech Talk service
Prepare service documents and prepare and affix static stickers
Perform courtesy cleaning: vacuum interior, wash exterior windows, clean headlamps and wash mirrors
Visually inspect wiper blades
Check and adjust tire pressure if necessary
Reset oil indicator light, if applicable
Start vehicle and check oil pressure drive vehicle out of bay and present to customer
Thank customer for their business and invite them to return in 90 days
Responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows and clearing litter
Attend crew meetings as required
Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor
