Chuck Nash Collision Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Collision Technician to join our growing team. Requirements

  • Previous automotive collision repair experience preferred.
  • Experience with frame repair and measuring equipment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair techniques, welding, and body alignment.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair orders and OEM repair procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must provide personal hand tools appropriate for the position.

Nice To Haves

  • I-CAR certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Repair or replace damaged body panels, doors, fenders, bumpers, quarter panels, and other components.
  • Complete frame and unibody repairs using computerized measuring systems.
  • Weld, section, and bond vehicle components according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Remove and reinstall mechanical and electrical components as needed for repairs.
  • Perform metal finishing, dent repair, panel alignment, and fitment.
  • Inspect repair orders and communicate with estimators regarding additional damage or repair needs.
  • Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals.
  • Follow all OEM repair procedures and insurance guidelines.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations.
  • Properly care for shop equipment and tools.
